dingz switches immediately bring more comfort to every room in the house and are very easy to install

Simple Installation

Our switches work through standard wiring. They are suitable for both new housing and renovation.

The big advantage is that you can switch from a standard installation to a smart home in the blink of an eye. Simply replace the old switches. The connection remains the same.

Each dingz generates its own Wi-Fi access point. This makes it easy to pre-configure the basic functionality on site without a Wi-Fi available.

Immediately functional

Once connected, the dingz is immediately operational with standard functionalities, and can be tested without the need for any configuration or application. Buttons will be assigned to the same output connected.

Use the installer app to assign and define outputs precisely (type of input, dimming, initialization of blinds, etc.), save configuration, connect your dingz to your Wifi and generate the configuration PDF file.

Scenes & Customization

The dingz+ app lets you easily create personalized scenes by grouping devices like lights, blinds, and thermostats into custom scenarios. Pick settings, name your scene ("Movie Night," anyone?), and activate it anytime with a tap.

You can fine-tune details, schedules, and behaviors—fully customizing your smart home with zero coding skills required. Automation without complication, courtesy of dingz+.

Grouping of blinds

Depending on the desired logic, the blinds can be controlled via 1 or 2 buttons. The slats can be adjusted by long presses or by the app.

If the blind wires are crossed, we simply reverse the raising and lowering of the blinds on the app. The M1 & M2 wiring remains the same.



Device configuration

Each connected device can be configured according to preference without changing the wiring. Simply assign new buttons in the app.



Smart on demand

Once the dingz are connected to the home network, the possibilities are multiplied by ten with other compatible devices.

Does dingz have any API?

Yes, dingz can be accessed via a REST API, documentation on https://api.dingz.ch

What to do if dingz does not work?

If your dingz switch does not work, the following measures are possible:

1) Turn your dingz switch OFF and ON again

2) Perform a factory reset (the connection to the WiFi is lost and your dingz switch has to be reconfigured)

How can I load the dingz standard configuration?

Press and hold both diagonal buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously for 10 seconds. The LED flashes 5x alternately white/red – this resets the settings of the dingz switch to the standard configuration. The connection to the WiFi is not lost.

How can I program Philips Hue and Sonos?

Sonos & Phillips Hue must be set up first. Select “Sonos & Hue” in the top left menu and search for Sonos devices or authorize the Phillips Hue Bridge for dingz. You need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Is it possible to downgrade the dingz FW?

No, an update of the dingz FW cannot be undone for security reasons.

How can I update the FW of dingz?

If a new FW version is available for dingz, it will be displayed in the dingz app. You can then choose yourself on which dingz the new FW version should be installed.
